Notes
God reveals different aspects of who He is through the many names He uses, each one with its unique meaning and power, offering us a deeper glimpse into His limitless nature.
3 Reasons for this series:
To reveal His nature and character.
To deepen our relationship with Him.
To guide our prayer life and worship experience.
Each name of God is like a perfect puzzle piece fitting exactly where we’re broken, filling what’s missing, and completing the picture of who we were created to be.
Exodus 33:1-4; 12-19
This conversation occurs after the golden calf debacle
God told them they could have the Promised Land, but He would not remain with them in a close, personal way.
If they were satisfied with that arrangement, it would prove they only loved God’s blessings but not God Himself.
If they pleaded with Him for His presence, not just His blessings, it would show a genuine heart for God Himself.
The presence of God is infinitely more important than anything else.
The Promised Land was nothing special without the special presence of the Lord.
God among you makes you different.
Ezekiel 48:35 NLT
The distance around the entire city will be 6 miles. And from that day the name of the city will be ‘The Lord Is There.’
Ezekiel prophesied this name after Israel had gone through judgment, destruction, and exile. Their temple was gone. Their hope was fading.
But God gave Ezekiel a vision — a restored city, and at the center of it, the name: Jehovah Shammah — The Lord is there.

Surely the Lord is in this place
When Jehovah Shammah is with you: Fear has to leave, Sickness has to bow, Chains start breaking, Hope begins rising.

You may not hear Him, but He’s still speaking. His presence is your anchor.
Like me, you may feel stuck, invisible, insignificant, or forgotten.
