Will God Do It For Me?
Can God heal? Most believers would answer yes. But a deeper question remains: Is He willing to do it for me? In this message, Pastor DaVon examines the story of the leper who came to Jesus with an impossible situation and asked the question many people still ask today: “I know You are able, but are You willing?”

Matthew 8:1-3
Mark 1:40-42
Luke 5:12-13
Start with Bryant being diagnosed with lymphoma
Faith begins where the will of God is known
Dr Luke says this man was full of leprosy. Stage 4.
Leprosy brought physical suffering, social isolation, and uncleanness.
He hung with other lepers. I wonder what those conversations were like.
He had not been touched in a long time.
He was probably missing limbs, parts, poor eyesight, and hearing.
Romans 2:11 AMPC
“For God shows no partiality [undue favor or unfairness; with Him one man is not different from another]. [Deut. 10:17; II Chron. 19:7.]”
I like that he was nameless because what God has done for others, He can do for you.
Bring all impossible situations to Jesus.
What others call hopeless, Jesus sees as an opportunity
He asked Jesus an eternal question. I know you are able, but are you willing?
His uncertainty was not about Jesus’ power but about His willingness.
Many believers struggle the same way today. They believe God is able, but they wonder if He is willing to move in their situation.
Jesus says, “I am willing.”
Jesus revealed a God who is willing to heal, restore, forgive, and help those who come to Him in faith.
Willing - eager, enthusiastic, ready
Hebrews 13:8 AMP
Jesus Christ is [eternally changeless, always] the same yesterday and today and forever.
Colossians 1:15
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
Whatever Jesus responded to this man is the same thing He will respond to you if you ask this question.
I would rather serve a God who was willing to heal me, yet unable to heal me, than to serve a God who was able to heal me, and yet unwilling to heal me.
His willingness was to bring the sickness to an end
So if it's God's will for him to be healed of leprosy, then it was never God's will for him to have leprosy.
